Henry Dunwoody’s Exr v. George Carrington} Jury Sworn &
charged: William Hopkins, Henry Edwards, Robert Hall, John Ray, William Warren,
Henry Goodrich, James Patterson, Adam Dixon, John Douglass, Edmond Herndon,
William Hall, John Warren. Find that the Defendant does detain the Negro Slaves
mentioned in the writ, that within three Years and that there is no release.
They further find that the Negro Jude is of the Value of £200, Sylvia £200,
Peter £175, Poll £100, Henderson £125 and assess the Plffs Damages to 1d &
costs.

Anne McPherson Orphans of Enoch McPherson Dec’d & enters into Bond with

Parish Son of Druce, William Rhew Son of Mary, Willis Stag Son of Frances,
Walter Stagg son of Lot Vaughan, Samuel King Son of Elizabeth, John King Son of

Rachel Carrington Widow of James Carrington of Geo Dec’d
comes into Court & relinquishes her right of Administration on said Estate.
Administration is therefore granted of the Estate of James Carrington Dec’d to

five hundred pounds.

& William O’Daniel Orphans of William O’Daniel Dec’d who enters into Bond

Administration on the Estate of Nathan Hall Dec’d is granted
to Rachel Hill & John Hill who enters into Bond with James McClure &
Abner Powell their Securities in the sum of £200, and qualified according to

The last Will and Testament of John Taylor (Eno) was duly
proved and ordered to be recorded at same time came Thos Taylor the Executor

Ordered that Prophenius Brown an Orphan of Edward Brown
