Administration on the Estate of Rachael Williams [Jr] Dec’d is granted to James Williams & Robert Faucett who enter into Bond with James Faucett & William Hall their securities in the sum of £2000.

Administration on the Estate of Rachael Williams Sr dec’d is granted to James Williams & Robert Faucett who enter into Bond with James Faucett & William Hall their Securities in the sum of £1000.

It appearing to the Court that there are ten distributees & three Negro Slaves belonging to the Estate of Rachel Williams Sr dec’d, It is therefore ordered that the administrators have leave to sell the said Negro slaves together with all the other personal property belonging to said Estate.

Ordered that the Administrators of Rachel Williams Jr Dec’d have leave to sell the personal estate of said Dec’d.

Ordered that the Tax of six pence on each poll, Six pence on every 300 acres of Lane and Six pence on every £100 value of Town property be levied & collected immediately for the purpose of repairing the public Buildings & repairing the Lott whereon they stand.

Ordered that Sterling Harris, William F Strudwick & Samuel Benton be & they are hereby appointed Commissioners to inclose and improve the Lott whereon the Public Buildings within the Town of Hillsboro stand with Authority to contract with the proper persons to have the work & labours done & performed.

The heirs of James Morrow} Petition. The Commissioners appointed to divide the land mentioned in the petition amongst the petitioners having reporting & the same being object to – the ???ide Court proceeded to appoint the following persons viz: James Barnhill, John Ray, Andrew Faddis, Sam’l Ector & William Eccles Commissioners to lay off & divide the lands according to the prayer of the petitions & it is ordered that they report to next court. The Widow of Samuel Love Dec’d having relinquished her right of Administration on his Estate, Administration on the Estate of Samuel Love Dec’d is therefore granted to Samuel Hopkins who enters into Bond with Alexander Strain & Reuben Boroughs his Sec’s in the Sum of £3000. The last Will & Testament of Martha Neal Dec’d being Caveated it is therefore ordered that letter ad Collegendum issue to Henry Neal. [RESEARCH]

Ordered that Pleasant Henderson, Thomas Searcy, Alexander Strain & John Taylor be and they are hereby appointed Commissioners to lay of and allot to Sally Love widow of Samuel Love Dec’d such part of Crop, stock and provision as will be necessary for the support of herself and family for one year.
