Daniel Cloud & wife vs Henry Neal & others} On Motion of Robert Bell esqr for a rule to Shew cause why the non Suit shall not be set aside and the Cause reinstated, Ordered by the Court that the rule be granted. On Argument, Ordered by the Court that the non Suit be set aside and the Cause reinstated and that the Plaintiff pay the Costs up to this time.

[OCPQS 7/121 – Feb 1806]

Ordered that William Leathers who appears in Court and is guilty of disorderly behavior be fined in the Sum of £2.10/ and that he stand committed until the fine be paid.

Ordered that William Leathers be committed until he gives Security for his good behavior and his appearance at next Court, himself in the Sum of £200 and two Sec’s in the Sum of £100 each.

Ordered that John Thompson Orphan Son of Robert Thompson Dec’d be bound now of the age of 15 years 15th Dec last be bound to John Holden to learn the Art & mistery of a Sadler. [Bond not found.]

[OCPQS 7/122 – Feb 1806]

Ordered that Thomas Ross pay unto Milley Crabtree the Sum of £27 on the following Order, vizt Two pounds immediately, five pounds on the 17th October next and five pounds annually thereafter until the whole is paid for the Maintenance of a Child of which the said Milley hath lately been delivered and of which the said Thomas Stands charged according to Law of being the reputed father. 26th Feb 1806 rec’d 40/ of J Taylor /Milley x Crabtree/ her mark. Thursday, Court met according to adjournment. Present: Samuel Benton, John Thompson, Joseph Clendening} esqrs.

George Coble records his Ear Mark as follows, vizt: Two Cropps & half penny in the under Side of the left Ear & a Smooth Crop in the right Ear.

The Execution of a Bill of Sale from Samuel May to John Latta Jr was duly proved in open Court by the Oath of John Latta Sr a Subscribing Witness thereto & Ordered to be registered. [See ODB 12/90.]

Sally King daughter of Edward King Dec’d of lawful age comes into Court & chooses Joshua Wyatt her Guardian who enters into Bond with Fredrick Wyatt his Security in the Sum of £250.

Ordered that Elsy James Son of Rebecca James now of the age of twelve years be bound to Mann Patterson until he arrive to lawful age to learn the Art & mistery of a farmer. [Bond not found.]

Ordered that Jonathan Whithed Son of Mary Whithed now of the age of 4 years 2nd June last be bound to Isaac Sugars until he arrive to lawful age to learn the Art & mistery of a farmer. [Bond not found.]

Ordered that Joseph Sharp Son of Benjamin Sharp Dec’d now of the Age of Twenty Year on the 30th Sep’r next be bound to James Child until he arrives to lawful Age to learn the Art & mistery of a Sadler. [Bond not found.]

It appearing to the Court that Stephen Baldridge Guardian to Josiah & Martha Baldridge is about to remove beyond the limits of this State. Ordered therefore that And’w McBroom be appointed Guardian to them who enters into Bond with Robert Tinnen his Sec’y in the sum of £500 for each child.
