Administration on the Estate of Martha Nail Dec’d is granted to Levi Whitted who enters into bond with William Whitted & James Phillips his Sec’s in the Sum of £1000. [She was intestate because her purported will was invalidated at OCPQS 6/534.]

It appearing to the Court that the perishable property of Sam’l Love Dec’d is not sufficient to Satisfy the Debts due by said Estate, It is therefore Ordered that Samuel Hopkins Admr of the said Sam’l Love Dec’d have leave to sell such of the Negroes belonging to said Estate as shall be sufficient to satisfy said Debts. It is the Opinion of the Court that it is highly necessary that a Bridge be built across the River Eno at the Town of Hillsboro. It is further therefore Ordered that Sterling Harris, Samuel Benton, Samuel Hopkins, Abner B Bruce & John Taylor Jr be and they are hereby appointed Commissioners with full power to contract for the Building of said Bridge & with full power upon such Terms as they may think most advantageous to the County & that they take bond of the Contractor payable to the Chairman of the Ct. [RESEARCH]

Ordered that the Sheriff Collect a Tax of Six pence on the poll, 6d on 300 acres of land, & 6d on every £100 Value of Town property with ? for the purpose of building the Bridge across Eno at Hillsbo.
