The Order heretofore made binding to Doctor Barnabas
O’Farrill an Orphan Boy called Pomphrey Shelton Tudor [OCPQS
7/37] be rescinded & the Indenture is cancelled. Ordered that said
Pomphrey be bound to William Gappins until he arrive to lawful age to learn the
Art & mistery of a farmer. [But Tudor was again re-bound in short order at
OCPQS 8/474.]
Ordered that the Sheriff summon a Jury to lay off a road
leading from Michael Holts old place going thence by Jeremiah Holts, Daniel
Albrights and thence on to the road leading from Galbraith’s ferry to Guilford
Court house, meeting said road near the County line on the lands of Powel
Troxler or Michael Charles.
