Walton.
Wm Andrews Constable Sworn to attend the Grand Jury during
this Court.
Thomas Taylor & Abner B Bruce qualified as Deputy Clerks
to this Court.

Administration on the Estate of John Edwards Dec’d is
Granted to John Edwards & he enters into Bond in the Sum of £10?? With John
Shepperd [blank] his Securities who is approved by the Court and at the same
time the said John Edwards Qualified accordingly.
Benjamin Cantrell came into Court & Exhibited the last
Will & testament of Alexander Robbs for probate which being objected to by
Stephen Moreen[?] It is thereupon ordered that an Issue be made up (to wit)
whether the said paper purporting to be the will of the said Alex’r Robbs be
the same or not. [See OWB D/215.]
Mann Patterson is appointed Overseer of the road from Dry
Creek to New hope in the room of Joseph Barbee with the following hands: Geo
Johnston, Mark Barbee & Wm Barbee & Hands &c.
Matthias Holstead is appointed Overseer of the road Leading
from Salisbury to Raleigh from the Guilford County line to the Plantation
whereon David Kennady lives in the place of Henry Kime with the usual hands.

Administration on the Estate of Polley Baldridge Dec’d is
Granted to Thomas Woods who enters into Bond in the Sum of £600 with Sam’l
Woods & And[rew] Moore his Securities who are approved of by the Court
& at the same time the said Thomas Woods Qualified accordingly
Court adjourned till to morrow 10 o’Clock.

Wm Trousdale Jr is appointed Overseer of the road from
Christmas ford [Swepsonville] to the cross roads at the draw Well till Feb’y
next in the room of James Stockard who hath removed, with usual hands &c.
The Execution of a Deed from Nicholas Holt to Joseph Farlow
was duly proved in open Court by the oath of Joseph Clendening a subscribing
Witness thereto & ordered to be registered. [See ODB 12/261.]

Administration on the Estate on the Estate of James
Wood is Granted to Isaac Holden & John Street on their entering into Bond
in the Sum of £500 with George Carrington their Security in who are
approved by the Court and same time the said Isaac Holden & John Street
qualified accordingly.
Alexander Lackey ag[ain]s[t] the State} Thomas Love &
Thomas Fitch witnesses Summoned in this case being called & failed to
appear their default is ordered to be recorded, forfeiture remited as to Thomas
Fitch on payment Costs.
Administration on the Estate of John Armstrong Dec’d is
Granted to Isaac Lint on his Entering into Bond with John Taylor Eno his Sec’y
in the Sum of £250.
An Account of Sales Inventory of the Estate of Joseph
Loften lent his wife Elizabeth Loften was returned on Oath by Leonard Loften
one of the Executors & ordered to be recorded.

The State vs Thomas Patterson} Indictm’t, Petit Larceny,
charged & pleads not Guilty. [Jury:] John Hunt, George Carrington,
Theophilus Thompson, Anthony Coble, Wm Brown, David McCrory, James McClure,
Thomas Hunt, Rob’t Faucett Sr?, James Faucett, Sam’l Chambers, Thomas King.
Jury charged impannelled & Sworn find Juror withdrawn by consent.
Administration of the Estate of Jacob May Dec’d is granted
to George May & Tobias May who enter into Bond with Anthony Coble and James
McClure their Securities in the Sum of £1000 & qualified accordingly.
Administration of the Estate of Jas Patterson Dec’d is
granted to Elizabeth Patterson Widow of the Dec’d & enters into Bond with
Thomas Hunt & Wm Faucett her Securities in the Sum of £500 & she
qualified accordingly.
John Hunts fine remitted to non-attendance as a Juror at
this Term on affidavit shewn the Court.

Robbs Dec’d is Granted to Anjel Robbs & Benjamin Cantrell on their Entering
into Bond with James Faucett & Joseph Ming their Securities in the Sum of
three thousand pounds, order sale, Admrs Qualified same time.
Ordered that an Order of Last Term appointing certain
persons to allot & lay off the widow Benson her pr??? For Support &
maintainance &c be renewed.

Administration of the Estate of James Douglas Dec’d is
Granted to Wm Bradford on his Entering into Bond with Col John Ray & Robert
Ray his Securities in the Sum of £250.
Administration of the Estate of James Dunn Dec’d is Granted
to Samuel Dunn on his Entering into Bond with Security in the Sum of £200 with
Richard Gott & Joseph McCrackin his Securities & at the same time
Samuel Dunn qualified accordingly.
The last Will & testament of Jacob Allen dec’d was duly
proved in open Court by the Oaths of John Kelley & Cuthbert Burton two of
the Subscribing witnesses thereto & ordered to be registered
recorded, at the same time James Latta & [blank] Qualified as Executors thereto
& also returned on Oath an Inventory of the Estate of the said Jacob Allen

Ordered that Letters of Administration on the Estate of
Peter Hart Dec’d be Granted to Lucy Hart widow of the said Peter & William
Hart on their Entering into Bond with James Faucett & Ralph Faucett their
Securities in the Sum of £1500, order sale, at same time administrators
qualified accordingly.

Guardian & his Entering into Bond in the Sum of £2000 with his Securities
Joseph Ming & William Dickey.
The last will & Testament of Eliza Rodge[r]s was duly
