Whereas it being Suggested to the Court that Charles
Stout is a Lunatic or otherwise non Compis mentis, It is Ordered by the Court
that a Jury of lawful Men be summoned to enquire into the state of Mind of the
said Charles Stout. Whereupon the following Jury having been Summoned,
Impannelled & Sworn, to wit: Thomas McCullock, John Roberts, Andrew Gibson,
Peter Brinkley, Joseph Ellison, Thomas Lloyd, John Patton, David Cloud, Andrew
McCulley, Henry Holt, William Hicks, Charles Debrular – find that said Charles
Stout by reason of Age & infirmity is Non Compis Mentis & incapable of
Managing his Own Concerns & has been so for about One Year past.
Whereupon, It is Ordered that Peter Stout & Francis
Stout be appointed his Guardian who enter into Bond with Hugh Woody &
Anthony Ward his Sec’y in the Sum of £100. Recinded on Motion.

defendant Guilty, that there was no former Conviction and they say they find it
to be a different assault. The Court adjudges that the Defendant be imprisoned until
in the public Jail of this County until Twelve o’Clock of the 16th
day of March next and thereafter until the Costs of this Prosecution is paid.

The State vs John Robinson Jr} Same Jury Sworn, find the
Defendant Guilty in manner & form as charged in the bill of Indictment.
The last will & testament of Hiram [Love] was proved in
open Court by the oath of Wm Fulliar? A subscribing witness thereto. [The
probate witness listed in the Will Book appears to be given as William Ridum.

Adm’n with the will annexed upon the estate of Hiram Love is
granted to Samuel Edmonston, it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that
those entitled had relinquished in favor of sd Samuel Edmonston, he entering

John Creek vs Daniel Cloud} Verd’t & Judgm’t. The
defendant prays an appeal to the Superior Court and offers David Cloud
Robert Laurence? & John Cloud Henry Fossett his Sec’s.
Whereas it appears to this Court that a Child by the name of
John Clark was heretofore bound to John Craig [OCPQS
8/432], and whereas it appears that the Mother of said Child [Peggy Allen]
is now married [to Reuben Smith, see OMB S-V/293] and that John Craig is
willing to relinquish his right to said apprentice, it is therefore Ordered
that the Indenture executed by said John Craig be cancelled. It is also Ordered
that the said Child be bound to Reuben Smith [John’s new stepfather] until it
